Soap Studio: Learning Experiences

A Learning Experience
Soap Studio

I noticed that I work at my soap much like I do my artwork, taking things apart and making sure its' exactly like I like it, exploring different techniques, so calling soap making area a soap studio is appropriate. Its a place of the invention of developmental processes. It's much like a lab only more colorful.

So while working on and developing soap recipes yesterday, I was on pins and needles all day. I used my home made Lye/Potash to make soap.   I'm not sure what I made but it wasn't soap even though I used a recipe. Perhaps the Lye mixture wasn't strong enough. It was a great lesson though, in learning what works and what doesn't.

Hubs ask me if I was disappointed and I said no. I was actually more excited to push to get it exactly right. More Determined... As they say "Back to the drawing board."
